Dr. Qaiser Abbas is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Economics. He did Ph.D research at the University of Vienna, Austria, and is a Post-doc research fellow at the School of Economics and Management, University of Wuhan, China. He holds more than twelve years of higher education teaching and research experience. He is an active researcher with over 45 international publications (cumulative impact factor 210), including book chapters in well-known SSCI & SCI economics, energy, climate, development, and environment journals. His work has been cited 3000 times during 2020-2023 with an h-index of 28. Furthermore, he serves with different publishers as the academic editor, associate editor, member of the editorial board, and reviewer.
