6th Meeting of Finance & Planning Committee Ghazi University

The Vice Chancellor Ghazi University D.G.Khan Prof Dr.Muhmmad Tufail presided over 6th meeting of Finance and Planning Committee.The committee recommended the budget estimates for FY 2020-21 with the tune of Rs. 1281.119/- million. Out of total budget outlay non-development expenditure of Rs. 933.499/- and development expenditure of Rs .347.620/- were recommended for the approval of the Syndicate.

The liabilities of the last FY 2019-20 development schemes from university own sources are carry forwarded in this year along with some new schemes i.e.

1. Construction of VC Office
2. Construction of two Rooms in Admin Block
3. Construction of Library Block
4. Sewerage System
5. Installation of Solar System at City Campus Ghazi University, D.G. Khan

Further, Committee also recommended to create much needed two Endowment Funds i.e. Endowment Funds for Students and Endowment Funds for Research in order to support the needy, talented students of the university by offering some sorts of scholarships. While, 2^nd Endowment Fund for Research will encourage and promote the research culture in the university. Accordingly, Schedule of daily wages rates-2019 issued by Finance Department, GOP was also recommended to adopt to bring university DPL rates at par.
